CODING: I code primarily in python these days but am putting my 15+ years of C++ experience towards writing a chess program (mostly in C for speed). My biggest program completed to date (as of late Feb 2017) is a simulator of a Major League Baseball season based on runs scored/allowed and remaining opponents. It's non-bayesian, unfortunately, and also is very ugly C++ from my "OO is everything" days.
HOBBIES: Video games, Chess, roguelikes, bowling, golf (latter two when my back allows). I used to be insanely into Pokémon but am much less so now. I also enjoy jigsaw puzzles and cats. Former MtG enthusiast.
OTHER: I have a constant headache and a Psyduck keychain to go with it. It's a mix of sinus and migraine and whatever you're about to suggest I've tried it already. (Chamomile tea has been effective at reducing sensitivity to light and sound.) This also means I nap a lot and keep an irregular sleep schedule.
